Seasoned Larch
Softwood
Modern energy efficient log burners now mean softwoods like larch burn for a longer period but slightly quicker than hardwoods.
Larch known for being denser than many other softwoods and even some hardwoods means it does produce a decent heat output.
LARCH IS NOT SUITABLE FOR OPEN FIRES DUE TO ITS RESIN CONTENT WHICH CAN CAUSE IT TO SPIT WHEN BURNING
